Albania - Updating of national technical standards

As part of the project to ”update the technical standards for design and construction in the field of water and sanitation in Albania”, funded by the French Ministry of Economy (FASEP), IOWater produced eight technical booklets, which aimed at making the Albanian engineering and construction sector more independent, and at improving the quality of water and sanitation achievements. These booklets detail the minimum technical requirements for the design and construction of all structures used for drinking water supply and wastewater treatment that must be compatible with the European standards.
