AfriAlliance project: launch of a MOOC on water and climate change in Africa


Within the framework of the AfriAlliance project, the International Office for Water ensures the realization of the activity component "Identifying and matching the needs and solutions of innovation". Are you interested in deepening your knowledge regarding the implications of climate change for water resources and uses in Africa? Join the MOOC (Massive Online Open Course) on water and climate change in Africa, taking place from 5 May to 30 June 2019! Program:

  • learn to define climate change implications for water resources and uses in Africa,
  • review case studies of climate change implication in different African regions,
  • discuss climate change adaptation policies with other MOOC participants.

This MOOC is primarily intended for water professionals with a background in natural sciences, applied or social interested in Africa. The certificate of participation is provided at the end of the course. The workload is 16-20 hours in total.
