Triangular cooperation program Loire Brittany Water Agency Intermunicipal Consortium of the Piracicaba and Jundai PCJ Basins, Rio Grande do Sul - PHASE 4
Rio Grande do Sul is Brazil's southernmost state. It is comparable to the Loire-Brittany basin in terms of population and covers almost twice the surface area:
The Loire-Brittany Agency, the Piracicaba Capivari Jundai Consortium and IOWater carried out various joint missions in the State of Rio Grande do Sul.
These missions answered a request for institutional support formulated by the Gaucho Forum of Committees, representing the 25 Basin Committees of this State.
The objective was to take advantage of a tripartite cooperation program allowing the Basin Committees of the RS to benefit from the experiences of the Loire-Brittany Agency, the PCJ Consortium and IOWater, especially in terms of governance, institutional organization, planning and financing.
