Mr. Eric Tardieu, Executive Director of IOWater, new INBO Secretary General

At the end of the 16th European "EUROPE-INBO 2018" conference, which was held in Seville, Spain, from 17 to 20 October 2018, Mr. Eric Tardieu, Executive Director of IOWater, was appointed General Secretary  of the International Network of Basin Organizations. He succeeds Mr. Jean-François Donzier, INBO General Secretary for 24 years.

A warm tribute was paid to Mr. Donzier for his constant and effective commitment, dynamism and enthusiasm in serving the network. The members conferred on him the title of Honorary General Secretary of the Network.

Mr. Tardieu thanked Mr. Donzier for his unfailing commitment to the Network, and expressed his willingness to maintain and develop INBO's actions for a rational and balanced management of water resources in the World.
