What initiatives in favour of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM)? INBO letter n°27 has been published!
Supporting initiatives for the organization of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) at the level of national or transboundary river, lake or aquifer basins is the role of the International Network of Basin Organizations (INBO), whose International Office for Water (IOWater) provides the permanent technical secretariat. INBO values the many experiences that make it possible to reconcile economic growth, social justice, environmental and water resources protection and civil society participation.
In this context, the last issue of "INBO's Newsletter" offers a vast overview of the projects carried out by the network members and partners. This collection of ongoing initiatives reflects the vitality of the network and the positive impacts of the low-waterside approach around the world.
Basin management contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Objectives, and above all provides answers to the concrete and daily needs of all users who share the same water resource.
